Meta’s Ray-Ban Smart Glasses Are Now on Sale in India: Check Price, Specs, Offers
Meta has officially started selling its Ray-Ban Gen 1 smart glasses in India from today, November 21. The glasses are available through Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliancedigital.in, marking the company’s first retail push for the product in the Indian market after confirming its launch timeline earlier this year.

Price, Offers and EMI Details
The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 smart glasses were originally introduced in India with a starting price of ₹29,900. As part of the current sale window, they’re now available at an effective price of ₹22,920. This figure factors in a 20% discount along with applicable bank offers across the listed platforms.
Meta says this discounted pricing will remain valid until December 1. For buyers opting for instalments, EMI plans start at ₹1,919 per month, depending on the platform and payment method selected.
Design Options and Core Features
The Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 collection comes in multiple frame and lens combinations, keeping the familiar Ray-Ban aesthetic intact. Buyers can choose from prescription, sun, polarized, and Transitions lens options depending on their needs.
A compact charging case is included with the glasses, helping keep the design practical for daily use. Privacy indicators are built in as well. A visible LED lights up whenever the camera is active, signalling to people nearby that recording is taking place.
Meta AI and Voice Controls
A central part of the experience is Meta AI integration. Users can trigger the assistant using the wake phrase “Hey Meta” to ask questions, retrieve information, or control certain functions without using their phone.
This hands-free interaction is meant to make the glasses feel more like a connected accessory rather than just an audio or camera device.
Recent Feature Additions for India
Meta has also rolled out a few India-focused enhancements for users of these glasses.
Hindi language support is now available for Meta AI, letting users interact in a more familiar voice interface. There’s also a new celebrity voice option, featuring Deepika Padukone, which can be selected for AI interactions.
A seasonal “Restyle” feature has been added as well. With the command “Hey Meta, restyle this,” users can apply visual effects and festive themes to photos taken using the glasses.
UPI Lite Payments Coming Soon
Meta is planning to introduce UPI Lite payment functionality for the smart glasses in a future update. This would allow users to scan QR codes and make payments under ₹1,000 using the command “Hey Meta, scan and pay.” The idea is to enable quick, low-value transactions directly through the glasses without needing a phone screen.
