POCO is gearing up to launch the POCO X8 Pro series globally, including in India. The brand has already started teasing the upcoming handsets; however, the exact launch date has not been officially announced yet. Now, the latest information has revealed the possible launch date of the X8 Pro series.

The POCO X8 Pro series will most likely comprise two models – the X8 Pro and the X8 Pro Max. According to the latest report by Smartprix (citing industry sources), POCO could launch both the models globally on March 17.

While the report does not mention the India launch timeline, earlier tipster Abhishek Yadav claimed that the POCO X8 Pro Max will launch in India by mid-March, alongside the POCO X8 Pro.

This suggests that the POCO X8 Pro series could arrive in India soon after the global launch. In the meantime, a dedicated microsite for the X8 Pro series is already live on Flipkart, confirming that the smartphones will be available on the platform.

POCO X8 Pro Series: What to Expect?

The X8 Pro series is confirmed to use MediaTek's Dimensity 8500 Ultra and Dimensity 9500s processors. While the company hasn't officially confirmed the exact model names, reports suggest the X8 Pro will have the Dimensity 8500 Ultra, while the Poco X8 Pro Max will ship with the Dimensity 9500s chipset.

Moreover, both the POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max are said to be rebranded versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max. However, reports suggest there could be a key difference in battery capacity, with the POCO variants expected to feature slightly smaller batteries compared to their Redmi counterparts.
