Vivo has introduced two new 5G phones in China, the Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G. Both models share many core features, including a large 6,000mAh battery, a 6.74-inch 90Hz display, and a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus support.
Despite the shared base, the Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G differ in storage options, charging speeds, and pricing. The Y50s 5G targets buyers wanting more RAM and faster charging, while the Y50e 5G is the more affordable option in the new pair.

Vivo Y50s 5G, Y50e Specifications
The Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G both feature a 6.74-inch flat LCD panel with HD+ resolution of 1,600×720 pixels. The screen supports up to a 90Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio, aimed at smoother scrolling and basic gaming.
Powering the Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The phones ship with OriginOS 5 based on Android 15. This software build is preloaded from the factory and is designed for 5G connectivity, multitasking and everyday entertainment use.
The Vivo Y50e 5G is available with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The Vivo Y50s 5G offers more choice, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which is faster for installing apps and loading games.

Battery capacity is identical on the Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G at 6,000mAh, but charging speeds differ. The Vivo Y50e 5G supports 15W charging over USB Type-C, while the Vivo Y50s 5G offers faster 44W charging, which can reduce top-up times for frequent users.
Both models support OTG reverse charging, allowing the Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G to act as power banks for other devices.
