The Vivo V70 series is set to make its debut in India today. The line-up will include a vanilla V70 and for the first time, a new Elite model in the form of the Vivo V70 Elite. Vivo has already revealed a vast majority of the specifications of its upcoming V70 series.

The Vivo V70 series features Snapdragon chipsets, 120Hz AMOLED displays, massive 6,500mAh batteries, 50MP ZEISS triple-camera setups, a vibrant design, and fast charging support. The upcoming Vivo V70 series will sit just under the recently launched Vivo X200T.

The Vivo V70 series will go on sale in India through Flipkart and Amazon following its launch in India. While Vivo is yet to confirm the prices of its upcoming V series smartphones, prior leaks have already painted a detailed picture.

Vivo V70 Series Price in India

The Vivo V70 price in India is expected to start from Rs 45,999 for the base 8GB/256GB variant. On the other hand, the Vivo V70 Pro price in India will start from Rs 51,999 for the base 8GB/256GB configuration.

Vivo V70 Series Specifications

The Vivo V70 Elite is officially confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This combination is designed to deliver faster app loading, smoother multitasking, and improved data transfer speeds over older memory and storage standards. The standard Vivo V70, meanwhile, runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, positioning it firmly in the upper mid-range Android segment.

Both Vivo V70 series phones come equipped with an X-axis linear motor that enables 4D vibration feedback, enhancing the tactile experience during gaming and everyday navigation. Battery performance is another shared strength. Each device packs a large 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired fast charging. Vivo has also included bypass charging, which supplies power directly to the phone during plugged-in gaming sessions to help reduce heat and battery stress.

Camera hardware remains a key highlight. Both devices sport a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. A 50MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. For durability, both phones carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong resistance against dust and water.

Display specifications are identical across both models. The phones feature a 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 459ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, ensuring excellent outdoor visibility.

On the software front, the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite ship with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo promises four years of major Android updates and six years of security patches, offering longer-term software support that many Indian buyers now prioritise.
