Redmi Note 16 Pro+ and Realme 16 Pro+ Reportedly in Testing
Realme and Redmi are reportedly working on mid-range smartphones equipped with a 200MP primary camera. While the tipster didn't explicitly name the devices, he used the Redmi Note 16 hashtag, hinting at the Note 16 series phone.

However, the 200MP camera won't be offered on the standard Redmi Note 16 model, as expected. Instead, it could arrive on the Redmi Note 16 Pro and Note 16 Pro+ variants. On the other hand, Realme is also said to be testing a mid-range phone with a 200MP main camera. This could be the Realme 16 Pro+.
Redmi Note 16 Series and Realme 16 Series Expected Launch
Starting with the Redmi Note 16 series, its launch is still far away. If Redmi follows the same timeline as the 15 series, it is expected to arrive in August next year. On the other hand, Realme is expected to launch the Realme 16 series in China early next year. A recent leak suggests that the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G (RMX5131) will be offered in three colour options-Master Grey, Master Gold, and Camellia Pink-and will come in multiple storage variants, including 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB.
