The Realme 16 Pro series is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. To recall, the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro Plus were unveiled earlier this week, with the latter debuting as the most expensive smartphone in the company's 'Number' series.
The Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ will go on sale in India at 12 pm (IST) today. Both smartphones will be available through Flipkart, Realme's e-store, and and offline retail partners.

Realme 16 Pro Series Price in India
Realme 16 Pro 5G pricing starts at Rs. 31,999 for 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option costs Rs. 33,999, while the top 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version is priced at Rs. 36,999. Realme is offering an instant Rs. 3,000 discount through select bank credit cards.
Realme 16 Pro+ 5G sits above it, starting at Rs. 39,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The mid-tier 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is listed at Rs. 41,999. The highest configuration, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, costs Rs. 44,999, supported by an instant Rs. 4,000 bank discount on select credit cards.
Realme 16 Pro Series Specifications
Both Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G feature AMOLED displays with up to 144Hz refresh rate and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. Realme 16 Pro+ 5G uses a 6.8-inch panel, with 1,280x2,800 pixels resolution, 240Hz touch sampling, 1.07 billion colours, and a claimed 6,500 nits peak brightness.
Realme 16 Pro 5G opts for a slightly smaller 6.78-inch screen, with 1,272x2,772 pixels resolution. It offers up to 1,400 nits peak brightness and a pixel density of 450 ppi, while matching the Pro+ model's maximum refresh rate and colour gamut, giving both phones similar visual characteristics despite the size difference.
Processing hardware differs between the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G. Realme 16 Pro+ 5G runs on Qualcomm's 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, with one prime core, four performance cores, and three efficiency cores, reaching speeds up to 2.8GHz, paired with an Adreno 722 GPU for graphics. The Realme 16 Pro 5G uses MediaTek's 4nm Dimensity 7300 Max 5G chipset, alongside an Arm Mali G615 GPU.
For cameras, Realme fits both Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G with a 200-megapixel f/1.8 primary sensor on the rear, paired with an 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide camera. Realme 16 Pro+ 5G alone adds a 50-megapixel f/2.8 telephoto lens, and both handsets carry 50-megapixel f/2.4 front cameras for selfies.
Video features differ slightly, as Realme 16 Pro+ 5G can capture footage at up to 4K resolution and 60fps. Both Realme 16 Pro+ 5G and Realme 16 Pro 5G include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port, while relying on 7,000mAh Titan batteries that support 80W wired fast charging.
Realme 16 Pro+ 5G in Master Gold trim measures 8.49mm in thickness and weighs around 203g, whereas Realme 16 Pro 5G is slimmer at 7.8mm and lighter at about 192g. Both smartphones are listed with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, indicating protection against high-pressure water jets and harsh environmental conditions during daily use.
