Poco X8 Pro Series Teased With Dimensity 8500 Ultra And 9500s Chips: Check Key Specs and India Launch Timeline
Poco has started teasing its upcoming Poco X8 Pro series globally, hinting that the phones could launch later this month across multiple markets.

The brand hasn’t confirmed the full specifications yet, but a recent teaser has revealed the chipsets that will power the lineup.
Dimensity Chips Confirmed
According to Poco’s teaser, the Poco X8 Pro series will use MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Ultra and Dimensity 9500s processors.
While Poco hasn’t officially confirmed the exact model names, reports suggest the series could include two devices. The Poco X8 Pro is said to run on the Dimensity 8500 Ultra, while the Poco X8 Pro Max may feature the Dimensity 9500s chipset.
The Dimensity 9500s is described as a slightly toned-down version of the existing Dimensity 9500, suggesting the Pro Max model could sit above the standard X8 Pro in terms of performance.
Possible Link To Redmi Turbo Phones
Reports also indicate the Poco X8 Pro lineup may be based on recently launched Redmi devices in China.
The Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max are rumored to be slightly modified versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which debuted earlier this month.
One reported difference could be the battery size. The Poco versions are said to feature slightly smaller batteries compared to their Redmi counterparts.
Display And Battery Details
Leaks suggest the Poco X8 Pro may include a 6,500mAh battery, while the X8 Pro Max could feature a larger 9,000mAh unit.
The display sizes may also differ between the two models. The X8 Pro is rumored to come with a 6.59-inch display, while the X8 Pro Max may use a 6.83-inch panel.
Both displays are expected to be OLED panels with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Camera And Hardware
Camera specifications may also vary slightly between the two models.
The Poco X8 Pro could feature a 20-megapixel front camera, while the X8 Pro Max may include a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
On the rear, both devices are rumored to include:
- A 50-megapixel main camera with OIS
- An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera
The phones are also expected to support up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Colors And Special Edition
Reports suggest the Poco X8 Pro series could be offered in Mint, Black, and White color options.
There are also claims that the Poco X8 Pro may arrive in a special Iron Man edition, though Poco has not confirmed this variant yet.
