POCO X8 Pro India Launch Imminent Following BIS Certification; 8000mAh Battery and Dimensity 8500 Tipped
POCO recently launched both the F8 Pro and F8 Ultra in the global market. While neither of the F8 models is coming to India, it seems the brand is prepping up to bring the flagship X8 Pro soon to the country.
While there is no official word regarding the same, the Indian variant of the POCO X8 Pro was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The latest information also suggests that the India and global launch for the POCO X8 Pro is expected to take place next month.

POCO X8 Pro Launching Soon in India
According to the tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Indian variant of the POCO X8 Pro has received BIS certification with 2511FPC34I model number. While he hasn't mentioned the exact launch date, he claims that the global launch - including India - will take place in January 2026. Moreover, he has shared the key specifications of the phone. Here's what to expect.
POCO X8 Pro: What to Expect?
The upcoming POCO X8 Pro is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 8500 chipset and feature a 6.6-inch flat AMOLED LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is tipped to come with a massive 8000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. The phone is also expected to sport a dual-camera setup, including a main and an ultrawide lens, and will feature a metal frame. Apart from this, nothing is known at this moment.
Reports suggest the POCO X8 Pro will be the rebranded version of the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5, which will likely go official early January. Following this, the India launch is believed to take place. Moreover, the POCO X8 Pro will succeed the X7 Pro, which was launched with the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset, a 6550mAh silicon-carbon battery, and IP68, IP66, and IP69 certifications.
