Poco X8 Pro And X8 Pro Max India Launch Timeline Tipped: Check Full Specifications and AnTuTu Score
Poco is set to expand its X lineup in India, and this time it may bring two new models together.
According to a fresh leak, the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max could debut in India by mid-March. While Poco hasn’t officially confirmed the launch yet, benchmark scores, certification listings, and design renders have already surfaced online, giving us a fairly detailed picture of what might be coming.
India Launch Timeline Tipped
Tipster Abhishek Yadav recently posted on X that the Poco X8 Pro Max is expected to launch in India by mid-March, alongside the standard Poco X8 Pro.
The same post claims that an early testing unit of the Pro Max variant has achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of 36,12,095. If that number holds up, it would position the device firmly in the high-performance segment, potentially competing with upper mid-range and so-called flagship-killer devices.
Poco has not confirmed any of this yet, but a TDRA listing has added weight to the timeline. Model numbers 2511FPC34G and 2602BPC18G are listed as the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max. Reports also suggest that the two devices could be rebranded versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro Max, which launched in China last month.
Design And Display Details
Leaked renders of the Poco X8 Pro show a matte flat back with slightly curved edges and a vertically aligned pill-shaped dual-camera module. The phone appears in black, white, and turquoise colour options.
The front is said to feature a flat display with slim bezels and a centred hole-punch cutout. There’s also an orange-accented power button on the right side, which continues Poco’s familiar design touches.
The Poco X8 Pro Max reportedly shares a similar design language and colour options. However, its camera rings appear slightly larger, hinting at possible hardware differences.
On the display front, the Poco X8 Pro is tipped to offer a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro Max variant is expected to step up to a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display.
Chipset, Cameras And Battery
Under the hood, the Poco X8 Pro is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. Camera details suggest a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
Battery capacity could be one of the highlights here. The X8 Pro is tipped to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 100W charging support.
The Poco X8 Pro Max, on the other hand, is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9500s SoC. Camera specs reportedly include a 50-megapixel Light Hunter 600 primary sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
The Pro Max may also bring a significantly larger 8,500mAh battery, while retaining similar fast charging support.
For now, all of this remains based on leaks and certifications. If the mid-March timeline is accurate, official details from Poco shouldn’t be far off.
