Poco M8 Pro 5G Launched Globally with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, 6500mAh Battery, 100W Charging
Poco has introduced the Poco M8 Pro 5G in select international markets, launching it alongside the Poco M8 5G. The Pro model features a 6,500mAh battery with 100W wired charging support, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, and a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen.
While the Poco M8 5G is already official in India, the Poco M8 Pro 5G has not debuted here. Poco has also not stated whether the Pro version will arrive in India later, leaving the company’s local launch plans unclear for now.

Poco M8 Pro 5G Price, Variants and Early Offers
The Poco M8 Pro 5G is offered in two memory configurations globally. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at $299, around Rs. 26,900. The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage option costs $359, which converts to roughly Rs. 32,300.
As part of early bird deals, Poco has announced lower launch prices for both variants. The 256GB model will sell at $279, about Rs. 25,100, while the 512GB version will be available at $339, close to Rs. 30,500, during the promotional window.

Poco M8 Pro 5G Specifications
The Poco M8 Pro 5G uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1,280x2,772 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, is rated for 3,200 nits brightness, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added durability.
Powering the Poco M8 Pro 5G is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, paired with up to 12GB RAM. Internal storage goes up to 512GB. Out of the box, the handset runs HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, bringing the latest software features.
For photography, the Poco M8 Pro 5G features a dual rear camera system led by a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation. It is joined by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. On the front, a 32-megapixel sensor handles selfies and video calls.

The Poco M8 Pro 5G also aims to improve media playback with stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. For security, the phone includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and an AI face unlock feature, giving users two biometric options.
The Poco M8 Pro 5G houses a 6,500mAh battery, paired with 100W wired fast charging support. Poco also includes 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing the handset to charge other compatible devices, which can be helpful during travel or emergencies.
Connectivity options on the Poco M8 Pro 5G include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The device is claimed to meet IP66, IP69, and IP69K ratings, suggesting resistance to dust, water, and high-pressure jets under specified test conditions. The Poco M8 Pro 5G launches as Poco expands its M8 line globally, while India currently receives only the Poco M8 5G with a 5,520mAh battery.
