POCO M8 and M8 Pro Renders Leaked

According to a report from WinFuture.de, the POCO M8 and POCO M8 Pro are expected to be redesigned versions of the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 and Redmi Note 15 Pro+. However, the POCO models will differ in terms of design and technical aspects.

POCO M8 Pro and POCO M8: What to Expect

According to the report, the POCO M8 Pro is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM, along with 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. On the front, the smartphone is said to feature a large 6.83-inch display with a resolution of 2772 × 1280 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The M8 Pro will likely pack a 6,500mAh battery with 100W charging and offer an IP68 rating.

On the other hand, the standard POCO M8 is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will pack a 5,520mAh battery with 45W charging support. Lastly, the POCO M8 will have an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

The report does not share any details about the camera specifications. However, tipster Abhishek Yadav has revealed that the POCO M8 Pro 5G is set to launch in January.

He claims the Pro version will be a rebranded Redmi Note 15 Pro+, with one key change – POCO replaces the 200MP 4× optical zoom periscope telephoto camera with a 50MP primary sensor on the rear panel. So, the Pro model may offer a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the front will house a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

On the software front, the M8 Pro will run Android 15-based HyperOS 2 for POCO. It will also include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an IR blaster. Stay tuned with us for official confirmation regarding the launch.
