The Poco F8 series is set to make its global debut later today. The line-up will include the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra, both of which will be rebranded versions of the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max that were unveiled in China last month. Additionally, the brand will also launch two new tablets at the event: Poco Pad X1 and Pad M1.

The Poco F8 series launch event will take place later today in Bali, Indonesia at 04:00 pm local time or 01:30 pm IST. As of now, there is no word on the availability of the Poco F8 series in India, but we expect at least one model to arrive in the first quarter of 2026.

Colour options for the Poco F8 Ultra include Black and Denim Blue. Meanwhile, the Poco F8 Pro will be offered in Black, Silver, and Blue globally. Both phones will feature "Sound by Bose" audio enhancements, promising a superior auditory experience.

The Poco F8 Pro comes with a 6.59-inch OLED display that uses a "super-pixel" panel and offers a sharp high-refresh experience. It is powered by the 3 nm-class Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which ensures flagship-level performance.

Under the hood, it supports up to 16 GB RAM and storage configurations up to 1 TB. For photography, the rear camera setup comprises a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP telephoto sensor, and an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, while the front houses a 20 MP selfie camera.

The phone packs a large 7,100 mAh battery and supports 100 W wired fast charging. Other notable features include a premium build (metal frame, cold-sculpted body), stereo speakers tuned by Bose, IP68 dust/water resistance, NFC, and support for the company's satellite-communication feature.

On the other hand, the Poco F8 Ultra upgrades many of those features significantly. It sports a larger 6.9-inch 2K AMOLED display with a resolution of 2608 × 1200 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, peak brightness up to 3500 nits, DC-dimming and a high touch sampling rate - making the display especially strong for gaming and media.

This device is driven by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM (12 GB or up to 16 GB) and UFS 4.1 storage up to 1 TB. Photography is handled by a triple 50 MP rear-camera setup: a main camera (with a 1/1.31″ sensor + OIS), a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens offering up to 5× optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera is 32 MP, capable of 4K video.

For power, the Pro Max version carries a 7,560 mAh battery and supports 100 W wired charging, 50 W wireless charging, and reverse charging. On the multimedia front, it brings a richer audio setup: a 2.1-channel speaker system (tuned by Bose, with a dedicated rear woofer) for deeper bass and better stereo sound - quite rare in smartphones. The phone also retains premium touches like stereo speakers, IP68 dust/water resistance, dual-SIM support, and a refined build quality.
