OPPO Find X9 Ultra Tipped to Feature Two 200MP Cameras: Expected to Launch in Q1 2026

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is tipped to launch in China in the first quarter of 2026, but leaks are already shedding light on what could be one of its biggest upgrades yet. The latest rumour points to a standout camera setup, suggesting the phone may debut with not one, but two 200-megapixel sensors.

OPPO Find X9 Ultra Camera Capabilities

According to a fresh leak from Digital Chat Station, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra could feature a dual 200MP camera system, a first in its segment. The primary camera is said to use a super-large 200MP sensor with light-gathering capabilities claimed to exceed current one-inch class sensors, hinting at a focus on improved real-world imaging, particularly in low-light scenarios.

The leak also suggests a dual-periscope setup. One sensor is reportedly a 200MP mid-range periscope telephoto aimed at delivering high-quality, lossless zoom at common focal lengths. The second is described as an ultra-long-range periscope offering native 10x optical zoom, built around a 50MP sensor.

If accurate, this would place the Find X9 Ultra in a unique position, combining extreme reach with minimal reliance on digital cropping. Earlier leaks had pointed to a more traditional configuration, including a 200MP Sony IMX09E main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and dual 50MP periscope telephoto units.

The newer information, however, suggests Oppo may have significantly reworked the imaging hardware, prioritising native focal lengths up to 230mm, with extended reach reportedly going as far as 460mm, while maintaining consistent image quality across zoom levels.

OPPO Find X9 Ultra Specifications (Expected)

Beyond the camera hardware, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Other rumoured features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, and a battery larger than 7,000mAh with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. As things stand, the device is still expected to make its official debut in China by Q1 2026.
