OnePlus 15R Price in India May Go Up Soon: Here's How Much It Could Cost

Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) has heard from sources that OnePlus could increase the OnePlus 15R price starting March 1. The tipster further stated that it is not officially confirmed yet.

On the other hand, tipster Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata) says the price hike could be around Rs 3,000-4,000 and may come into effect in about two weeks. If this turns out to be true, the OnePlus 15R could start at around Rs 51,999 or Rs 52,999. Since there is no official word on this, we suggest taking this with a pinch of salt and staying tuned for an official announcement.

OnePlus 15R: Would It Be Worth Buying After the Price Hike?

If the price hike turns out to be true, the OnePlus 15R could feel slightly overpriced. The smartphone does come with some notable features, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. It also sports a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refreshrate andd a high brightness mode of 1,800 nits.

However, the 15R does not include a dedicated telephoto camera and also misses out on wireless charging. If you want similar performance at a lower price, the newly launched iQOO 15R could be a great deal for you at just Rs 44,999. iQOO has positioned the device to deliver a flagship-level gaming experience without a hefty price tag.
