Nothing Phone 4a Pro Design Revealed

Nothing posted the Nothing Phone 4a Pro teaser on X, previously known as Twitter, on 4 March. The post includes a single tagline, "Hello?", alongside the image. Many observers on social media now assume this is the first clear sign of the Nothing Phone 4a Pro within the broader Phone 4a series.

The square LED pattern sits where the Phone 4a camera system would normally appear, raising design questions. The layout suggests Nothing may shift or reshape the camera array on the Nothing Phone 4a Pro. The lighting feature also hints that this mid-range model could move closer to the Phone 3 experience, at least regarding Glyph-style visual alerts.

While the Nothing Phone 4a Pro remains partly hidden, Nothing has already shown far more of the standard Phone 4a. The company highlighted a pink colour option across February and early March. Nothing confirmed that this pink version would be available when the Phone 4a series launches on 5 March.

The Nothing Phone 4a Pro is launching in India today alongside the vanilla Phone 4a at 04:00 pm IST. We expect the Nothing Phone 4a Pro price in India to start from under Rs 40,000, presumably Rs 39,999. According to previous leaks, the Nothing Phone 4a price in India will start from Rs 31,999.

Nothing Phone 4a Pro Specifications

Under the hood, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro is likely to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Storage on this model is tipped to use UFS 3.1 technology, which usually offers quicker read and write speeds. The Nothing 4a Pro should ship with Android 16-based Nothing OS 4. The Phone 4a Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The Nothing 4a Pro is expected to carry a 5,400mAh battery. Charging support is said to reach 50W fast charging, which should reduce downtime between charges. Together, the hardware and software are aimed at offering smooth performance for daily use, gaming and multimedia consumption in this segment.

For imaging, the Nothing Phone 4a Pro is rumoured to include a triple rear camera system. The setup may consist of a 50MP primary sensor, an ultra-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto lens. The telephoto unit is tipped to deliver 3.5x optical zoom. On the front, the Nothing 4a Pro are expected to use a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.

With this mix of design, display, performance and camera hardware, the Nothing 4a Pro are positioned to compete strongly in the mid-range smartphone market, especially in India.
