Nothing Phone (4a), (4a) Pro Launched In India With New Glyph Design: Check Price, Specs, Availability

Nothing has officially launched the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro in India, expanding its mid-range smartphone lineup. The two devices continue the company’s recognizable design approach with transparent backs and Glyph lighting while introducing updated hardware and camera layouts.

The Nothing Phone (4a) starts at ₹31,999 in India.

The device will be available in the following configurations:

• 8GB + 128GB - ₹31,999
• 8GB + 256GB - ₹34,999
• 12GB + 256GB - ₹37,999

The phone comes in Black, White, Pink, and Blue color options.

Pre-orders for the Phone (4a) begin today on Nothing’s official website (nothing.tech).

Customers will also be able to purchase the device in person from Nothing’s flagship store in Bengaluru starting March 5. Broader general sales begin March 13.

The Phone (4a) Pro comes in Silver, Black, and Pink color options.

Pre-orders for the Pro model begin March 13. Customers will be able to purchase the device from Nothing’s Bengaluru flagship store starting March 21, while general sales begin March 27.

Transparent Design And Updated Glyph Lighting

Both phones retain Nothing’s distinctive transparent design that reveals internal components beneath the rear panel.

The Phone (4a) introduces a refreshed camera layout with a horizontal pill-shaped camera bar. Two sensors sit together within the module while a third sensor sits separately, with the flash positioned outside the camera island.

The phone also introduces a redesigned Glyph Bar, which continues to provide visual alerts for notifications, timers, and calls. A red recording indicator light sits below the camera module.

The Phone (4a) Pro uses the company’s Glyph Matrix, which functions as a small display-style lighting system. It adds features such as Glyph Mirror, allowing users to frame photos using the rear camera.

Display, Performance And Cameras

The Phone (4a) features a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPS display with a 30–120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor.

The Phone (4a) Pro uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED LTPS display with a 30–144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 5,000 nits, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

Both models share the same camera setup:

• 50MP main camera
• 8MP ultra-wide camera
• 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5× optical zoom
• 32MP front camera

They also include a 5,080mAh battery with 50W wired fast charging. Wireless charging is not supported.

Software And Updates

The Phone (4a) series runs Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16.

Nothing says the phones will receive three Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
