The Motorola Edge 70 is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. The Edge 70 was unveiled in India last week in the country's mid-range segment. However, it boasts the same ultra-thin aesthetics of the flagship iPhone Air and Galaxy S25 Edge (Review).

The Motorola Edge 70 features three 50MP cameras, a Snapdragon 7 series chip, an AMOLED display, clean software with solid support, a massive battery given its design, fast charging support, and a ton of AI features.

Motorola's ultra-slim smartphone is set to go on sale India at 12:00 pm (IST) today via Flipkart and Motorola.com. The Motorola Edge 70 is offered in Pantone validated colours, including Bronze Green, Gadget Grey, and Lily Pad.

The Motorola Edge 70 price in India is set at Rs 29,999 for the sole 8GB/256GB model. Customers can get an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on the Edge 70 using cards from select banks.

Motorola Edge 70 Specifications

The Motorola Edge 70 features a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels. The panel supports 10-bit colour, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peaks at an impressive 4,500 nits of brightness, while Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects against everyday scratches and minor drops.

At its core is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM to handle multitasking smoothly. Motorola includes a generous 512GB of internal storage, offering ample room for apps, games, photos, and high-resolution videos without the need for cloud reliance.

Photography is handled by a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation and an f/1.8 aperture, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view and 4K video recording at 30fps. A 50MP front camera manages selfies and video calls.

The Edge 70 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. Motorola claims up to 38 hours of mixed usage and nearly 29 hours of video playback. Despite the large battery, the phone remains ultra-slim at 5.99mm and weighs just 159g. It also carries IP68/IP69 ratings, MIL-STD-810H durability, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and moto AI features.
