Motorola Edge 70 Fusion Launch Date in India set for March 6: Full Specifications Confirmed

Motorola has been teasing the launch of a new smartphone in its Edge series in India. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion is set to debut as the most affordable smartphone in the company's Edge 70 line-up. While details about its specifications are already available, its release date was still under wraps, until now.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion launch date in India is set for March 6 at 12 pm IST. Following its launch, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion launch will on sale in India through Flipkart and Motorola's website.

While there is no information about pricing, we expect the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion price in India to start from under Rs 25,000, sitting just below the Motorola Edge 70. Moreover, the Edge 70 Fusion will make its global debut on March 2 ahead of MWC 2026 in Barcelona.

On the rear, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will carry a 50MP Sony-LYTIA 710 main camera with Moto AI features. This primary sensor will be joined by a 13MP ultrawide camera, which can also handle macro and depth duties. Motorola notes that the cameras are certified to reproduce Pantone validated colours and skin tones, aimed at more accurate photos.

A 32MP front camera will handle selfies and video calls on the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. Motorola confirms that 4K video recording will be possible on every lens, including the front sensor. Powering the device is a 7,000mAh silicon carbon battery, paired with 68W wired fast charging. This large cell is designed for extended use between charges while still allowing relatively quick top-ups.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion: What to Expect

Despite housing a large battery, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion body thickness will stay just under 8mm, at 7.99mm. Motorola has already stated that the phone will be offered in Pantone curated colours. The handset is also expected to feature an IP68+IP69 rating and Military Grade Certification (MIL STD-810H).

Buyers will get three finishes: Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Country Air, and Pantone Silhouette. The rear panel will use a fabric-style material, intended to deliver a more premium feel in hand.
