Lava Dual-Screen Smartphone Launching in India Soon: Check Expected Pricing and Specifications
Lava is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone in India. While details about the device are yet to be revealed, the official poster reveals a rear display, similar to that of the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
However, Lava is no stranger to the rear secondary display as the Lava Blaze Duo 5G was the first Lava phone to incorporate this concept back in 2024. This suggests the phone in question could be the Lava Blaze Duo 3 5G.

Lava Dual Screen Phone: What We Know So Far
Based on Lava's typical product range, this upcoming handset is likely positioned in the affordable segment, which could explain the more compact rear display compared with Xiaomi's premium models.
To recall, the Lava Blaze Duo 5G price in India started at Rs 16,999 in India at the time of its launch. This suggests the Lava Blaze Duo 3 5G price in India will start from under Rs 20,000, sitting just below the Lava Agni 4 (Review).
Apart from the OLED display on the back, the upcoming Lava smartphone also features a dual-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor, although it is unclear whether the second shooter will be usable given the 'AI Camera' branding.
Lava Blaze Duo 3 5G Specifications (Expected)
Lava has yet to make a formal announcement, but details surrounding the Lava Blaze Duo 3 indicate it will be positioned as a well-rounded mid-range offering. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, paired with at least 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is also likely to ship with a near-stock version of Android 15 out of the box.
The Lava Blaze Duo 3 is said to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, potentially with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it is expected to include a secondary 1.6-inch AMOLED display on the rear, designed to function as a camera viewfinder and to show notifications or other quick information.
The device is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging. Despite the inclusion of a rear display, it is expected to maintain a slim profile at around 7.55mm and weigh approximately 181 grams. An IP64 rating is also anticipated, offering protection against dust and light water splashes.
On the imaging front, the Lava Blaze Duo 3 is expected to feature a 50MP Sony IMX752 primary camera. Details about additional rear sensors and the front-facing camera remain unconfirmed at this stage.
Lava has not revealed any further specifications, launch date, or pricing for the new device. The company is only saying that the smartphone is "coming soon", and more teasers are expected ahead of the full unveiling, as Lava builds interest in its rear screen smartphone.
