The Lava Agni 4 is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. The Agni 4 was unveiled in India last week in the country's sub-25K segment. With the Agni 4, Lava is banking on premium design and build with solid hardware as opposed to an innovative rear display like its predecessor.

The Lava Agni 4 price in India starts from Rs 24,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model. The Lava Agni 4 is offered in two shades including Phantom Black and Lunar Mist.

The Lava Agni 4 will be available for purchase in India at 12 noon today via Amazon. As part of a day-one launch offer, customers will get an instant Rs 2,000 discount on the Agni 4 using credit and debit cards, bringing the price down to Rs 22,999.

The Lava Agni 4 runs stock Android 15 and is promised three major OS upgrades and four years of security updates. It features a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,400 nits peak brightness, and 446 PPI. The phone sports an aluminium alloy frame, 1.7mm uniform bezels, a matte AG glass back, Gorilla Glass protection, a Super Anti-Drop Diamond Frame, and an IP64 rating.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip, it comes with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, and claims an AnTuTu v10 score above 1.4 million. A 4,300 sq mm VC liquid cooling system helps manage thermals. The dual rear cameras include a 50MP OIS main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide, while a 50MP front camera handles selfies; both support up to 4K 60fps video.

Lava's new Vayu AI suite offers voice-controlled system functions, AI learning agents, photo tools, call summaries, and Circle to Search. The handset also introduces a customisable Action Key with 100+ programmable shortcuts.
