iQOO 15R Surfaces on Geekbench Ahead of India Launch: Check Key Specs and Features

iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 15R will launch in India soon, with availability already confirmed via Amazon. While the company hasn’t revealed an official launch date yet, early clues about the phone’s hardware are starting to emerge through benchmark listings and industry chatter.

At this stage, the iQOO 15R appears to be shaping up as a familiar pattern in the smartphone market: a device that may closely resemble an existing model launched in another region.

What the Geekbench Listing Reveals

A recent Geekbench entry, shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, suggests that the iQOO 15R carries the model identifier Vivo I2508. The listing shows an octa-core Qualcomm chipset with two high-performance cores clocked at up to 3.80GHz and additional cores running at lower speeds.

These details point toward the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor.

The benchmark entry also indicates that the phone could run Android 16 and feature 8GB of RAM. On Geekbench’s OpenCL test, the device reportedly scored 7,687, offering a rough snapshot of its GPU performance.

While benchmark listings don’t always reflect final hardware, they often provide a reliable early look at what a device might offer.

A Likely Rebrand of the iQOO Z11 Turbo

Based on the chipset and other leaked details, the iQOO 15R is widely believed to be a renamed version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which launched in China earlier this month.

If that turns out to be accurate, the iQOO 15R could feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and up to a 144Hz refresh rate. It may also include IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with support for high RAM and storage configurations.

Camera hardware could include a 200-megapixel primary sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, along with a 32-megapixel front camera. Powering the device might be a 7,600mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.

It’s worth noting that these specifications are not officially confirmed for the Indian variant yet, and final details could differ at launch.
