iQOO 15R Spotted in Certification Listing, Tipped as Z11 Turbo Rebrand
The iQOO 15 launched back in November as the brand’s latest flagship, but it looks like the lineup might not be done just yet. A new iQOO phone has quietly appeared on a certification database, and for the first time, it introduces the name iQOO 15R.

If this follows iQOO’s usual pattern, the 15R could sit just below the main flagship (review), similar to how OnePlus positions its “R” models. Nothing’s official yet, but the early signs suggest this phone could be closer than it looks.
Bluetooth SIG Listing Confirms the iQOO 15R Name
A listing on the Bluetooth SIG website (via) shows an unannounced iQOO smartphone with the model number I2508. What makes this interesting is the name attached to it. The listing clearly mentions iQOO 15R, marking the first public reference to this model.
As usual with Bluetooth certifications, there are no hardware details or design hints. Still, these listings typically show up when a launch is approaching, so the timing feels notable.
Tipped as a Rebranded iQOO Z11 Turbo
According to a report from TechOutlook, the iQOO 15R could be a rebranded version of the upcoming iQOO Z11 Turbo, which is expected to debut in China soon. If that holds true, the phone won’t be a flagship in the strictest sense, but it could still pack serious hardware.
The device is said to run on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. That’s the same chip used in phones like the OnePlus 15R (performance review). In other words, this could be one of those “near-flagship” phones focused on performance.
Display, Camera, and Build Details Tipped
Leaks tied to the Z11 Turbo give us a rough idea of what the iQOO 15R might offer. Internally, the phone is code-named “The Battle Spirit,” which sounds very on-brand for iQOO.
The handset is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch display and a 200-megapixel “ultra-clear” primary camera on the back. The build is said to include a metal frame, a glass rear panel, and rounded corners. On top of that, it’s claimed to offer IP68 and IP69-rated dust and water resistance, along with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
If these specs carry over unchanged, the iQOO 15R could land in an interesting middle ground between premium and flagship.
