iQOO 15R Launched in India as Most Affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Phone: Check Price, Specifications, Offers

The iQOO 15R has officially been unveiled in India as the brand's first phone to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip in the country. The iQOO 15R comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a massive 7600mAh silicon carbon battery, and a 144Hz AMOLED display.

iQOO 15R Price and Offers in India

The iQOO 15R price in India starts from Rs 44,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model. The handset also comes in a 12GB/256GB and a 12GB/512GB configuration that will set you back Rs 47,999 and Rs 52,999, respectively.

The iQOO 15R comes in two colours: Dark Knight and Triumph Silver, which features a silver checkered pattern. The iQOO 15R will go on sale in India from March 3, at 12 pm (IST) through Amazon, iqoo.com, Reliance Digital, and Vivo exclusive stores.

iQOO is also offering an instant discount of Rs 4,000 on HDFC Bank and Axis Bank credit and debit cards and EMI transactions. Pre-booking customers will also get a pair of TWS earbuds worth Rs 1,899 free on the iQOO 15R.

iQOO 15R Specifications

The iQOO 15R sports a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits of local peak brightness. The phone features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and comes with an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, delivering segment-leading performance with an AnTuTu score exceeding 3.5 million.

The flagship smartphone ships with the Supercomputing Chip Q2 and supports up to 144FPS gameplay with enhanced frame stability, 1.5K Game Super Resolution, lower latency, and improved power efficiency. The iQOO 15R packs a 7600mAh battery with 100W FlashCharge support, making it India's slimmest smartphone in this battery category. The phone is claimed to charge from 20 per cent to 44 per cent in just 10 minutes.

On the software front, the iQOO 15R runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top and receives four years of Android OS updates along with six years of security patches. For imaging, the phone features a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP selfie camera.

The iQOO 15R brings a wide range of advanced AI features, including AI Creation, AI Captions, AI Screen Translation, and AI Erase. Other highlights include 4K 60fps video recording with OIS, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, bypass charging, and a weight of around 202 grams.
