Samsung is gearing up for its next-gen Galaxy S26 launch early next year. However, while there's no official confirmation yet, leaks and rumours have already given us a good idea of what to expect from Samsung's upcoming flagships.
Now, the latest report suggests that Samsung is working on a new wireless charger capable of delivering up to 25W charging. Here's what to expect:

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series New Leak
A new report from WinFuture indicates that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S26 series could bring faster wireless charging. The company is reportedly working on a Qi2 magnetic wireless charger capable of delivering up to 25W, an upgrade from the current 15W limit supported by Galaxy S25 series phones under the Qi2 standard.
The new Samsung Magnetic Wireless Charger is listed with EP-P2900 model number, which appears in retailer data with 25W charging support. The mention of built-in magnets suggests it will attach securely to the back of compatible devices during charging. Retail listings also note that the charger will come in dark gray and support the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series, as well as the Galaxy Buds.
The report further stated that Samsung's recent wireless charger features a compact square design. With Qi2's circular charging coils and magnetic alignment, the new model is expected to adopt a round form factor.
As far as the launch is concerned, the Galaxy S26 series is rumoured to launch in late January 2026, with the sale expected for early February. Moreover, the next-gen S26 lineup will most likely include the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. As noted, there are no such plans for the Edge model for now.
