OPPO ColorOS 16 Based on Android 16 Launched Globally: Eligible Devices, Key Features, Roll Out Schedule

OPPO has launched ColorOS 16 globally, alongside the Find X9 Series. This new version, built on Android 16 is described as "Smart & Smooth." It features an upgraded architecture, AI tools, and enhanced device connectivity. Theuminous Rendering Engine debuts in this, transitioning from a parallel to a unified seamless architecture for improved performance.

The Trinity Engine introduces a Dynamic Frame Sync system at the chip level. This system integrates hardware and software to create a dedicated animation processing pipeline. It optimises performance distribution, ensuring smooth visuals and efficiency even under high workloads.

OPPO has officially revealed the rollout schedule for ColorOS 16, its latest Android 16-based software, across smartphones and tablets. The phased rollout begins in November 2025, expanding through December 2025 and Q1 2026.
